In this three-hour class, you will learn how to hammer-form the bowl of the copper spoon and use our induction forge to taper, shape and bend the steel handle. The two pieces will then be riveted together with copper, and you will leave with a one-of-a-kind spoon that's ready to use!Students must come to class with appropriate attire which includes closed-toe work boots/shoes and long pants. Clothing must be made of a non-synthetic material, and long hair must be tied back.Makerspace NYC will provide safety glasses, gloves and ear protection.
