Fix Your Startup Pitch for Good - Get live feedback. Help fund charities.
Charlie O'Donnell is the Founding Partner of Brooklyn Bridge Ventures. He has funded over 60 NYC companies since 2010.
He's also a sucker for a great charity--especially if it's attached to athletics or kids or both.
That's why he has committed to raising $10,000 for the following fundraisers:
$2500 to the Challenged Athlete's Foundation at the Empire State Building Run-up in May.
$2500 for Code Nation.
$2500 to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse.
$2500 for the Red Hook Initiative.
How are we going to get there? Well, you can help and get some useful pitch feedback. Brooklyn Bridge Ventures is going to try to host 48 Live Pitch workshops over the course of the next year--4 per month. Startups can sign up to go through an abridged 30 min VC meeting, and then we'll talk for 30 minutes about what could be improved, how to organize it better, and what VCs need to see.
And if you're just curious, you can just come watch.
For startups pitching, the donation is $200, which will be 100% disbursed to the charities above. For attendees, the suggested donation is $30.
Come by the Brooklyn Bridge Ventures office, and fix your startup pitch--for good!
