Of saving plastic bags all over your apartment? Come reimagine plastic waste with us at our next Compost Craft Lab! We will be working on a few project: Food Scrap Collection Bags - We will apply the art of collage to transforming old, sturdy plastic resealable bags (for example, these or these) into reusable containers that folks can use to drop off their food scraps at their local community composting site or market drop-off  Plastic Fusing for Sign Making - We will continue to turn old plastic bags into a sturdy , weather-proof material for making durable and colorful signage for our mid-scale community compost site. Thanks to  Brooklyn Creative Reuse for teaching us how at our last Compost Craft Lab.Materials from the Big Reuse Center and Brooklyn Creative Reuse, as well as scavenged items will be available for your use. You are welcome to bring your own materials, but we request that they be what would otherwise be considered “waste.” Here’s to scavenging, hoarding, and repurposing!
