His first solo album "Martyr of Love" was recorded with a live band in the studio to an eight track Fostex tape machine and features songs about love, aging Portland hippies, his dad, animals, and the weather. "Martyr of Love" is out nearly everywhere March 5th on Nosuch records.Dash Hammerstein is a film composer and songwriter based in Brooklyn. He has scored films and shows for Netflix, Apple TV and Time Warner Hulumount Max. "Dash Hammerstein" is his tenth studio album to be released but the first with his name in it.
