About the Visit
At this Showcase, visitors will learn how the staff and students at Brooklyn Science and Engineering Academy innovate and inquire into STEAM topics that fascinate them, and the impact this has on their school community. Visitors will observe classes engaged in standards-based units of study that emphasize cross-curricular, real-world connections, giving students a sense of how what they learn applies to their lives. At the end of the day, visitors will have the opportunity to plan how these practices could be incorporated into their own work.
