Our meetups are open to all adults (18+) who self-identify as women.In addition to our hike, we will be collecting food and toiletry items for donation to the NEAR foodshelf in Crystal. Participation is voluntary; feel free to bring as many items as you'd like. Please ensure you allow enough travel time to arrive by 10am.We will meet outside of the Gateway Center. Please note there are two sides to this park; use the Brooklyn Park address to navigate.Hike:We plan to hike approximately 3 to 4 miles, a mix of paved and unpaved trails, mostly flat. Exact trail will be determined at a later date and will depend on trail conditions at the time of our hike.What to bring: Hiking boots/sneakers with good traction, dress in layers for the weather, sunglasses,phone/camera, water, snacks. There may be ice and or snow on the traills; wearing traction devices such as YakTrax may be helpful!Due to the larger group setting, no dogs or pets unless they are working/service animals.We will cap sign-ups at 40 attendees. This ensures everyone joining us has a comfortable hiking experience and avoids negatively impacting the experience of others recreating on the trails.If we’ve hit capacity, please join the waitlist.
