We start the week making an applique initial pillow learning hemming and applique techniques.
Then we will make a doll sized quilt (kind of like an intro to quilting on a small and simple scale).
We learn how working with knits is very different than wovens when we make a laundry bag (new this year).
Our 2 day project is making and accessorizing a "Black Apple" Doll. I love how the personality of the child shows in each doll.
