Pottery Wheel Class - March

Get hands-on with clay in this beginner-friendly pottery wheel class at the Brookings Arts Council. Local ceramicist Jenny Cook will guide participants through the fundamentals of using a pottery wheel, from centering clay to shaping simple forms.

This class is designed for youth and adults learning side by side. No prior ceramics experience is needed, and younger participants will have hands-on support from an accompanying adult.

✨ This is a TWO-session class:
🗓 Making session: Saturday, March 1 | 2:30–4:30pm
🗓 Glazing session: Saturday, March 15 | 2:30–4:30pm
👥 Ages 9+ (artists 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult; adults may register as a participant or attend to assist)

A great introduction to the wheel and a fun way to learn a new skill together.
