Afternoon Indie Films are a free monthly film screening for the community, featuring indie and classic films hand-selected by the Wild Rivers Film Festival!

When a young girl's holiday tradition is cancelled due to the pandemic, a dream arises that promises to reinvent their shattered hopes.

Written by local artist Sky-Marie McDonald and produced entirely on the Wild Rivers Coast, A Small Town Nutcracker Story is a heartwarming family film full of breathtaking performances by local dancers. Families and audience members of all ages are invited to join us for a special holiday screening of the award-winning indie film that led to the creation of the Wild Rivers Film Festival back in 2023!
