We will cut downed logs lying across the trail, cut vegetation from overgrown areas, and fix trail tread as needed.Hiking information:The hike is moderately strenuous. Expect to hike up to 4 miles (2 hours hiking) each day over uneven terrain. There are plenty of ups and downs along the trail, but besides a few scrambly sections, it is not too bad.You should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early.Camping information:There is free dispersed camping at the trailhead, and paid camping at the nearby Ludlum House Forest Service Campground.Camping hours outside of the Trail Party shifts will be unsupervised, and volunteers are responsible for their own well-being and must adhere to campground rules.Volunteers are expected to be completely self-sufficient with their own gear, food, water, and everything they need for the duration of the event.
