You will discover the basics of watercolor in this fun, beginner-friendly workshop! Whether you're new to watercolor or looking to build your confidence, you'll learn fundamental techniques that will help you create beautiful paintings and continue exploring watercolor on your own.

ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED!

Your class project, "Flowers Escaping", uses watercolor, a light box, and simple ruler lines to create a unique design where flowers appear to "escape" from a colorful geometric pattern. After tracing your choice of flower images with a light box, you'll use a ruler to create the background design, then bring your painting to life with vibrant watercolor washes. Complete your artwork by adding shimmering metallic accents in silver or gold, creating a striking piece you'll be proud to display. You'll be amazed at the finished piece you can create in just one class!
