Gather around the fire as we witness each other in our raw expression. As we allow our voices to be heard, we connect deeper with our inner truth and each other. If we leave rehearsal and performance at home, we make space for something present to awaken.
Amongst collective support, our judgements and fears soften; our courage expands.
Let the fire fuel your voice.
Feel the beats empower you. Alllow the community to hold you.
"Freestyling" can look and sound however you desire. Sounds, mumbles, cries, singing, rapping, grunts, humming, toning, yelps. It's all welcome. This is a shared practice. All ways of participating belong. No pressure.
Format ranges from simple warm up exercises, channeling our nonsensical innocence, fun games, small group break outs, free flow, etc.
100% of proceeds go to supporting the creative expression of BIPOC.
