A Bronx River Alliance representative will talk about the work of the organization, its projects and the birds and other wildlife that rely on the river for habitat and subsistence. After the guided walk and talk, we will continue for an additional 4.5 miles along the Bronx River Walkaway to Pelham Parkway South where we will detour to Arthur Avenue, also known as the “real Little Italy” in the Bronx. Arthur Avenue offers a rich cultural experience and a true Italian-American culinary destination.
