The Mercy Case is heading to the Grand Jury! ⚖️🐈✊🏽
Mercy was a beautiful street cat brutally killed in a satanic ritual by David Mosley. He filmed the demented act and posted it on YouTube for likes, in mid October. He vowed to K*ll again on Halloween in order to please a rap producer that called for violent animal sacrifices on video in order to win beats (studio time and a record deal). Calls were made to the Bronx PD and DA Clark's office - Mosely was arrested, held overnight, released on supervised watch, and ordered to return to court on 11/12/25. So did we.
Thousands of call were made to Bronx DA Darcel Clark, including letters sent to Judge Lopez. Activists from every borough showed up to the protest I helped organize. Mosley's lawyer was a no show - Judge Lopez ordered the alleged cat killer to return to court on Nov 18th. An online petition was created.
We returned on November 18th with a loud and powerful protest. Dozens of activists outside the courthouse demanded justice for the brutally killed cat, and confronting Mosley while he waited in line was exactly what was needed. The positive energy, news media covered the heartbreaking story, cat lovers and even NJ wildlife rehabbers attended in solidarity for Mercy. Our voices made a huge impact on the judge's decision. Judge Lopez will not accept anything less than a 2 year guilty plea for the animal cruelty charge. Mosley must continue treatment at a psychiatric facility. Let's demand all charges stick! Mercy deserves justice!
