His work focuses on capturing the countryside, cultivated land, the family home, and, more broadly, everyday life. Memory and identity are central axes of his practice. He is interested in portraying, from a contemporary perspective, a community where ancient traditions are preserved. He began his studies at the Fábrica de Artes y Oficios de Oriente in 2007. In 2011, he attended the Contemporary Photography Seminar at the Centro de la Imagen, in addition to various workshops at the Centro de las Artes de San Agustín (CaSA). His images have been exhibited in various venues in Mexico City, Oaxaca, and the United States. He received the PECDA Oaxaca grant in 2015, the Jóvenes Creadores grant in 2021, and participated in an artistic residency program in 2026.
