Saturday 11th July is Main Carnival Day, and Sanders Park is going to be absolutely alive with music, dancing, food, and community spirit! The Front Field (Entirely FREE & Non-Ticketed!) Just turn up and enjoy the atmosphere! This area is open to absolutely everyone with no tickets required. • The Main Carnival Parade: Arriving at the park at approx 12:45 PM. • The Bandstand: Hosting incredible performances from Rock Choir and our local dance academies all afternoon! • Plus: The bustling trade stalls, community charity stands, and the funfair! • Picnics are welcome in this section of the park (strictly no outside alcohol). ? 2. The Back Field – Main Stage & Food Zone (FREE Ticket Required) This is where you'll find our fantastic Main Stage hosted by BBC Hereford & Worcester, featuring incredible live music all day long, plus our festival bar and street food vendors! • Why do I need a ticket? Due to strict council licensing and capacity rules, we must monitor numbers in this zone. • Is it free? Yes! Entry is 100% FREE, but you must secure a ticket to enter this zone. ? Supporting Our Back Field Traders (Food & Drink Policy) To keep the Carnival free to enter, our brilliant independent food vendors and bar contribute financially to help cover the massive costs of staging the event. Because of this, strictly no outside food or drink can be brought into the ticketed Back Field area. Please support the businesses that support our Carnival! If you prefer to bring a picnic, you are more than welcome to enjoy it on the Front Field or around the wider park. Please note: For safety reasons, there is strictly no alcohol permitted anywhere in the general park outside of the licensed bar area. ⏰ The Big Day Timings: • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: The Carnival Parade ? Starting at North Bromsgrove High School, heading down Market Street, passing ASDA, and arriving at Sanders Park at approximately 12:45 PM. Spaces fill up fast, so secure your viewing slot along the route early! • 10:00 AM – Onwards: Front Field stalls and fair open! • 11:00 AM – Onwards: Back field Food and Live Music Area Open! • 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM: The Bandstand- Choirs & Dancers? ?
