The Mayans are an electro-acoustic combo blending jazz-funk and Latin-soul influences. Known for their tight melodic grooves, earthy vibe, and a deep dive into funky fusion, they rework popular tunes alongside original tracks from their EP Cowcatcher. Their dynamic performances have graced festival stages and venues across the UK, with collaborations including Mucho Soul, Stomping in the Quomps, and Poetic Funk, among others.

Their 70s jazz vibes have been praised by radio shows like Black on Track, and they’re described as an “unbelievable, brilliant London band” by Nick Tann’s independent music podcast.
