In 2024, The Australian Institute conducted research which concluded Australia has surpassed the US as the world’s biggest consumer of textiles per capita. More than 200,000 tonnes of clothing end up in landfill each year (almost 4 Sydney Harbour Bridges).

We believe you don’t need to buy new to look fantastic, join the Art Exchange at our annual showcase where we take the fast out of fashion, save money and the planet – it’s a win/win. 

Hosted by one of Broken Hill’s favourite fashionistas, the sensational Amanda Screetly, expect glamour, gags and a whole lot of sparkle.
