To help all senior drivers find a better “fit” with their cars in terms of comfort and safety, mobility experts are hosting a safety program designed to assist older drivers and their families. With age comes natural changes to vision, information processing, flexibility, and the speed of reflexes, which can affect a person’s ability to drive safely. 

CarFit is a national program developed by AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) that provides a quick, yet comprehensive assessment of how well an older driver and their vehicle fit together.
