SoftlySoftly is a laid-back, intimate, totally unplugged event. Each month we feature some amazing performers from around the country, coming together in a chilled and shared celebration of music.
In September we have:
Morag Butler
Local legend, Morag runs the folk nights at Rosslyn Court, her b&b in Cliftonville. She's also a fabulous singer, with a wealth of songs, both humorous and serious. She's even opened at Dreamland for The Libertines recently, so we're really looking forward to hearing her play.
Jack Harris
An old friend of SoftlySoftly, Jack's a brilliant, thought-provoking songwriter, with a unique take on life, and a wonderful way with words. He's won many awards including the PRS ATOM award for new music creation, as well as an EFDSS creative bursary for songwriting. We're delighted he's coming to see us in Broadstairs.
Ekim Hatter
We love Ekim's relaxed style and fingerpicking style is perfect for a chilled Sunday afternoon - he's even written a song about The Flying Scotsman - what could be better as this year is the 200th birthday of the railway!
Bring cash to donate at least £5 on the door (it all goes to the artists). Doors open 2.45. Music from 3 till 5.30 - and there's wine, coffee and more on sale too.
Join us for a lovely way to end the weekend...
The venue is opposite Broadstairs Station and on the Loop route too, so you've no excuse!!!
