Get ready to dash, dawdle, and spread some holiday cheer – the Skye Santa Dash & Dawdle is back!
On Saturday 6th December at 10:30am, the streets of Portree will transform into a sea of Santas, elves, reindeer, and more. Whether you’re a speedy Dasher or a gentle Dawdler, this family-friendly event is the perfect way to kick off the festive season.
🌟 Why Take Part?
*. Festive Fun for Everyone – Run, walk, or stroll in your favourite Christmas costume. From tiny elves to jolly Santas, everyone’s welcome.
*. Free Festive Headwear – Every participant will receive a complimentary Santa hat band to get into the spirit.
*. Prizes & Santa Paws Parade – With prizes for best individual and team costumes, plus a special parade for our four-legged friends, it’s fun for humans and pets alike.
*. Seasonal Treats – Cross the finish line and celebrate with hot chocolate and cookies.
* Make a Difference – We're raising funds for Columba 1400. Donations can be made during registration.
🏃 How It Works
* Distance: A cheerful 1.75-mile route – perfect for runners, walkers, children, buggies, and wheelchairs.
* Registration: Get organised - Sign up in advance.
* Participation: Come solo, bring the kids, form a team, or get sponsored to help raise vital funds.
* Route: Starts and finishes at Somerled Square, Portree, looping through the heart of the village.

👶 Please note: Little Elves under 8 must be accompanied by a grown-up Santa or Elf.
