B-P community drama program presents "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"

Broadalbin-Perth students, staff, and community members will come together to celebrate local talent in a production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, and Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Margaret Robin Blowers Auditorium at Broadalbin-Perth High School. Tickets, which feature reserved seating, go on sale Monday, Oct. 20, for $12.10 each, including fees, and may be purchased online. Tickets may be purchased at the door, but are available in limited quantities.

This community-style production features students in grades 5-12 alongside faculty, staff, administrators, and members of the Board of Education, showcasing collaboration and creativity across the district.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” focuses on a couple struggling to stage a church Christmas pageant, and they end up casting the infamous Herdman children — widely considered the most inventively awful kids in history. Audiences can expect plenty of laughter and heart as the Herdmans bring their own brand of chaos to the traditional Christmas story.
