jarní Skotské plesání se blíží! Zatančíme si v pátek 27. března 2026 již od 19:00 hodin v prostorách kulturního centra Sýpka v Brně-Medlánkách, Kytnerova 1.
🏴 Ples nám zahájí v 19 hodin dudáci a bubeníci ze Scotch Dog Pipes and Drums, následuje první taneční set a v 19.45 hodin nás čeká slavnostní přivítání. Sál je pro návštěvníky otevřen od 18.30 hodin.
🏴 Těší se na Vás jako obvykle Mike Scott z Edinburghu, díky kterému se naučíte další skotské tance, též hudební doprovod – kapela Alastair a její hlavní protagonista, houslista Alastair Edwards. Můžete se těšit na taneční ukázku, slavnostní ráz plesu dodají společnými silami dudáci a bubeníci ze Scotch Dog Pipes and Drums.
🏴 Ani letos nebude chybět zajímavá nabídka různých druhů jednosladové skotské whisky, rumů a ginů z Whisky shopu a tematická soutěž plná lákavých cen.
🏴 Členové Skotského psa pro Vás již tradičně chystají bar s pestrou nabídkou občerstvení. Na baru lze platit pouze hotově. Děkujeme za pochopení.

Dear friends,
the Spring Scottish Ball is coming soon! We will dance together on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 7:00 PM at the Cultural Centre Sýpka in Brno-Medlánky, Kytnerova 1.
🏴 The evening will open at 7:00 PM with pipers and drummers from Scotch Dog Pipes and Drums, followed by the first dance set. At 7:45 PM, there will be an official welcome. The hall will be open to visitors from 6:30 PM.
🏴 As always, we look forward to welcoming Mike Scott from Edinburgh, who will teach you more Scottish dances. The musical accompaniment will be provided by Alastair, led by its main protagonist, violinist Alastair Edwards. You can also look forward to a dance performance, and the festive atmosphere will once again be enhanced by the pipers and drummers from Scotch Dog Pipes and Drums.
🏴 This year, there will again be an exciting selection of various single malt Scotch whiskies, as well as rums and gins from Whisky Shop, and a themed competition full of attractive prizes.
🏴 Members of Scotch Dog will once again prepare a bar with a wide selection of refreshments. Please note that cash payments only will be accepted at the bar. Thank you for your understanding.

🏴 The atmosphere of the Scottish evening will be enhanced by men wearing traditional kilts – however, this is absolutely not a requirement for participation. If you would like to wear your own kilt to the ball, don’t forget that you can rent one especially for this occasion at Kilt For You.
