V týdnu od 14. listopadu nepůjdeme do školy, ale budeme stávkovat a okupovat naši univerzitu. Nemáme na vybranou! 

? PROČ STÁVKA?

Klimatická krize se stupňuje každým dnem, miliony lidí po celém světě jsou už teď zasaženi jejími ničivými dopady. A přitom, pokud nebudeme jednat, dopady budou ještě mnohem vážnější. Jakožto mladí lidé máme strach o svoji budoucnost a o to, jak bude vypadat svět, ve kterém budeme žít.

Vědkyně a vědci po celém světě upozorňují na nutnost okamžitě jednat a skončit s fosilními palivy, stejně jako během mnoha akcí a protestů požadují obyčejní lidé po celém světě. Naše vláda ale mlčí a nejedná! Letos v červnu přitom dokonce soud potvrdil, že nečinnost české vlády je nelegální, ve skutečnosti se ale nic nezměnilo!

Vnímáme také vážnost dalších krizí, které jsou se závislostí na fosilních palivech spojeny. Jako je válka na Ukrajině, vzrůstající ceny energie a s tím spojená energetická chudoba a v návaznosti na to polarizace společnosti a příklon ke krajní pravici… Proto budeme požadovat kroky, která cílí k řešení všech těchtoi krizí a jsou sociálně citlivá a spravedlivá!

✊?Vzpomínat na 17. listopad nestačí a v prázdných slibech není budoucnost! Chceme klimatickou spravedlnost na univerzitách i ve společnosti! ?✊

? JSEM NA STRANĚ UNIVERZIT!

Nechceme se vymezovat proti univerzitním strukturám, naopak, chceme do toho jít spolu s vedením škol, vyučujícími, zaměstnankyněmi a zaměstnanci ?‍?‍?. Řada pracovnic a pracovníků naší univerzity nás podporuje!
Svým protestem chceme cílit hlavně na nečinnou vládu!

In the week of November 14, we will not go to school, but we will strike and occupy our university. We have no choice!

? WHY STRIKE?
The climate crisis is escalating every day, with millions of people around the world already affected by its devastating effects. And yet, if we don't act, the impacts will be far more severe. As young people, we fear for our future and for the world we will live in.
Scientists around the world are calling for attention to the need for immediate action and an end to fossil fuels, just as ordinary people around the world are demanding during many actions and protests. But our government is silent and does not act! In June this year, a court even confirmed that the Czech government's inaction is illegal, but in reality nothing has changed!

? WE ARE NOT ALONE, THERE ARE STRIKES ALL OVER THE WORLD!
We are joining students occupying their universities in other cities in the Czech Republic and in dozens of other countries around the world! And together with them, we demand real action for a swift and just solution to the climate crisis!
We are part of the global #EndFossil Occupy movement!

? ANOTHER CRISIS
We also see the seriousness of other crises that are linked to fossil fuel dependence. Such as the war in Ukraine, the rising energy prices and the associated energy poverty and the consequent polarization of society and the tilt towards the far right... Therefore we will demand actions that aim to address all these crises and are socially sensitive and just!

✊?Remembering 17 November is not enough and there is no future in empty promises! We want climate justice in universities and society! ?✊

? I'M ON THE SIDE OF THE UNIVERSITIES!
We don't want to define ourselves against university structures, on the contrary, we want to go for it together with school management, teachers, staff ???. Many of the staff of our university support us!
We want to target mainly the inactive government with our protest!

?HOW WILL IT GO

? There will be alternative teaching, workshops, meetings, plenaries etc. The program is still to be determined.
The whole event will be non-violent and calm.
