Pete can often be found at one of the tech incubators across the city, providing pro-bono advice and running financial workshops for emerging entrepreneurs and start-up companies.Sam Wood - Senior Manager (Tax)Sam is a Senior Tax Manager with over 10 years' practice experience in accountancy and tax across Southwest England, with a specialism in incentives and reliefs for innovation-intensive businesses. Sam provides tax technical support for various businesses in differing sectors at different stages in their life cycle, navigating business-owners and senior leadership teams through the complexities of accountancy and tax-technical scenarios. He particularly enjoys working with science and tech-based businesses making positive contributions to their respective sectors. Sam is a specialist in R&D tax relief where he provides his clients support with advisory reports, grant applications, and HMRC dispute services. He also delivers keynote speeches, presents tax webinars, as well as creating trade-related content pieces for distribution.
