About this Event

Expert panel, Q & A, networking time, and book signing to follow. Our Expert panel of writers and publishers include:

Joseph R. Adomavicia aka “Joe the Poet” has published several collections including Cerulean Wings, Sakura, and A Step into My Heart Blackout Poetry Edition. Joe also runs Cerulean Wings LLC, a company focused on editing and book creation.

Dr. Dawn Leger is the author of two novels, In Flight and Eagle Scouting, and the Prof. Cassie Thornton mysteries. Book four in the series, Challenging the Empress, will be published soon. Dr. Leger is also the editor of several textbooks in ergonomics and biomechanics.

Karmen Tartt is the author of Moodypuffs™: My Super Mom Has Moody Days Too, which she has built into a growing series for families. Karmen is the founder of the Tartt Hearts Project, a nonprofit that supports underserved communities in Connecticut.

Stacy Whitman is the founder and former publisher of Tu Books, the imprint of Lee & Low Books and owner of The Curious Cat Bookshop in Winsted, CT. Stacy was an editor for the Mirrorstone imprint of Wizards of the Coast and has edited elementary school textbooks at Houghton Mifflin.
