Making Stuff About Stuff (Scottee Workshop)
A workshop for artists, makers and fakers with an axe to grind
Scottee invites artists, thinkers, makers and fakers with ideas above their station or an axe to grind, with stuff they want to get off their chest and willing to shout from the rooftops to join him for an afternoon workshop.
Making Stuff About Stuff explores making short performance, variety, theatre and live art about stuff that matters – politics, sex, sexuality, gender, poverty, race, class, identity and then some!
Create politically motivated work, devise activist art, socially engaged stuff, ideas generation and discover how to harness the fire in your belly.
This isn’t a workshop where you’ll roll around the floor crying, pretending to be a tree.
This workshop precedes Fat Blokes by Scottee, 22 Feb, 7:30pm
Making Stuff About Stuff is presented as part of IGNiTE - our programme of world-class, innovative theatre and dance about issues that matter to people now, starting conversations and sparking debate. IGNiTE is supported using public funding by Bristol City Council and by the National Lottery through Arts Council England
