Välkomna på Luciafirandet i St Marys Church (Stoke Bishop BS9 1QJ) lördagen den 13e december!

Nu är det snart dags att fira Lucia tillsammans igen, och vi vill bjuda in till en mysig lördagkväll tillsammans med luciatåg, glögg och pepparkakor, samt en minijulmarknad.

Dörrarna öppnar klockan 17:30, med lucatåg vid 18:00.
Luciakören har övat tillsammans sedan mitten på oktober, och kommer bjuda på stämningsfull sång.

Det kommer även att bjudas på musik från Bristol Spelmanslag, samt pianisten Anthony.

Nytt för iår är att prästen Sverker Linge från Svenska kyrkan kommer till oss i Bristol och håller andakt samt leder psalmerna. 

Efter firandet bjuder vi på glögg och pepparkakor, och myser av gott sällskap samt en liten julmarknad. Under julmarknaden finns det även ett bokbord med svenska böcker, filmer och spel där alla pengar går till välgörenhet.

Biljetter säljs i förväg genom Headfirst och kommer finnas tillgängliga från 13e November.

Welcome to celebrate Lucia with us in St Mary’s Church (Stoke Bishop BS9 1QJ) on Saturday the 13th December!

It is time for another round of our Lucia celebrations, and we are hoping to spend a cosy Saturday evening together with a Lucia celebration, glögg (Swedish mulled wine) and ginger bread, as well as a little Christmas bazar.

Doors to the event will open at 5:30pm, with the procession starting at 6pm.

Our community choir have been rehearsing since the middle of october, and will treat us to atmospheric singing.

There will also be folk music from the Bristol Spelmanslag, and piano music from Anthony.

This year, we are pleased to welcome Reverend Sverker Linge from the Church of Sweden. He will join us here in Bristol to lead a short devotional service and guide us in the singing of hymns.

After the celebration you are welcome to join us for Glögg (Swedish mulled wine) and ginger thins as well as a small chirstmas bazaar. During the Christmas Market, there will also be a book table offering Swedish books, films, and games. All proceeds will go to charity.

Tickets are only sold in advance via Headfirst and will be released on 13th November.
