# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Laidback Sunday GAME NIGHT: MARIO KART & MORE!
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 23 Aug, 2026 at 03:00 pm
- **Event Description**: ?GAME NIGHT ??
We’re turning Sunday Funday into GAME NIGHT this week at Axe & Ale House!

Join us Sunday, August 23 starting at 3 PM as we transform the dining room into a laid-back game room featuring Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch!

?️ MARIO KART FREE PLAY | 4–7 PM
No brackets. No formal tournament. Just jump in and race!

Here’s how it works:
? Winner stays on
? Losers rotate out for the next racers
?️ Winner picks the next track
? Keep it rolling until 7 PM — or until everyone finally gets tired of throwing shells at each other.

Not into Mario Kart? No problem. We’re planning to turn our dining room into a Game Night space every month, with plenty of other ways to play.

This Sunday we’ll also have:
? Beer Pong (with water)
? Pop Darts
? A variety of board games
? Puzzles
?️ Plus our regular arcade games and more!

Grab some friends, order some food, get a cold drink and spend the afternoon playing something together. Come for Mario Kart, bring your favorite game, or just show up and see what gets started.

No formal tournaments just good old-fashioned competition among friends. No complicated format. Just a room full of games and a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

**We will be rolling out sign ups for a formal Mario Kart Tournament with limited availability. Attendees will be the first to get to sign up!
