# Event Details - **Event Name**: I Am Making Art: Parallel Imprints - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 12 Sep, 2026 at 11:00 am – Sat, 12 Sep, 2026 at 01:00 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: Join a playful, hands-on workshop exploring 3D making processes with art fabricators Lisa and Mark from Plenderleith Scantlebury.About this EventDrawing on the architectural installations in Spike Island’s exhibition, , Lisa and Mark will guide you through an experimental process of making and re-making objects, that explore how collective fantasies and emotions become embedded in form.Participants are invited to create clay forms through a combination of hand building, moulding and throwing on a potter’s wheel, before re-casting the forms in plaster to make parallel imprints of the real world.This workshop is open to all ages and abilities – children should be supervised by an adult.
