- **Event Description**: Join us on the last Tuesday of each month, from March through May, for fun (and educational) hands-on learning at Blithewold! This year we will offer programs in science, history, and art. Each month, we explore intriguing topics in the arts, history, horticulture, environmental science, and climate change.

Indoor and outdoor learning experiences complete our curriculum, which aligns with RI, MA, and CT state standards. Between sessions, there is plenty of time to enjoy a nice picnic or run out some energy on the Great Lawn. Check our website for more information on our monthly themes and activities.

This is a drop-off program designed for Ages 8 – 13. An adult chaperone is required to remain on the Property for security.

Students are to check in at the Visitor Center, and one adult chaperone must remain on the property until pickup. Please bring a lunch, a refillable water bottle, and dress for the weather, as we often take our lessons outside! Lunch will be enjoyed from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Adult chaperones and younger siblings are welcome to picnic on the Grounds with the students.

February 24 – Butler & Maid Tour

March 31 – Phenology: The timing of nature’s cycles

April 28 – How to measure & calculate the value of Trees 

May 26 – Letterboxing workshop

Class size is limited to 15. Reservations are required.
