We’ll work with the fundamentals of trapeze, hoop, silks and rope techniques.What to expectBeginner-friendly instruction: Complete beginner and mixed experience welcome, every element is taught from the ground upGround based warm up and cool downChoice-led participation: You decide what feels right for youAdaptations: Options for diverse bodies, access needs, and comfort levels. (Please note: The Island is not wheelchair accessible and the circus space is up a flight of stairs)Supportive space: Facilitated by Maddie with Viv and a wellbeing support professional for the CSA community, this course centres autonomy, safety, and joyNo experience needed and a no pressure environment. You’ll be supported to try as much or as little as you want. Getting to the venueBus: The closest bus stop to The Island is either Bristol Bus Staion (5 minute walk) or 'Bond Street' outside of Cabot Circus (5 minute walk).Train: Bristol Temple Meads is a 5 minute drive away. There is a taxi rank directly outside (approx £6 - £10 one way), and a bus stop close by - the number 8 will take you to 'Bond Street' (Cabot Circus).Parking: The nearest/cheapeset car park is Cabot Circus (BS2 9AB) which is a 7 minute walk away.
