Equine First Aid and Bandaging

Learn how to take your horses vitals, do a bit of self-care, apply basic leg bandages and hoof wraps. If it's been a while since you went to pony camp, 4-H, or Pony Club, you should probably attend this event! Taught by a lay person, these are things you can choose to do yourself, however, if in doubt, call your vet and let them handle it! Lorie Fleenor has been taking care of horses all her life on her working farm. She has a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Equine Studies and a minor in Chemistry. Lorie is a 4x certified Hoof Care Practitioner and teaches many classes on hoof care and equine anatomy. She has also completed the UT Master Equine Program. Please RSVP for this event, cost is $40 and includes consumables.
