Earthship Ecology Workshop (Part I)
You are invited to join us for this introductory workshop about Earthships and the amazing process of how plants treat wastewater in them, using “biomimicry tools” to assess system health. Together we will learn about all the time tested strategies found in Nature and how asking questions and making observations about how ecosystems remediate wastewater can help us solve our own problems.
Together we will find, draw, and identify indicator species of ecosystem health so we can learn how we can best support the ecosystems that in turn support us within Earthship homes and how this can also be applied to conventional homes and our environment in general.
The Instructor for this awesome class is Elinor Stapylton, Certified Earthship Biotecture Educator. Elinor holds a Masters in Science in Biomimicry from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s in Biology & Environmental & Urban Studies from Bard College. She has a teaching certificate in Biotecture from the Earthship Biotecture Academy. We are so delighted and grateful to have Elinor join us for this very special, excellent series of Earthship Workshops!
Space is limited for these classes and early registration is highly recommended.
Please note that although this Class is Part I of II, each Class can also be a standalone.
No refunds/exchanges unless program is canceled by SLNC. Thank you.
Elinor Stapylton is offering Workshops at the SLNC Earthship on the following Saturdays, April 25th, May 9th, and October 24th.
