Day 1: Strengthening your organisation by using digital tools effectively
Leadership & Culture: A successful digital approach starts with a clear organisational vision and a positive culture. We explore how leadership and culture are central to your digital approach and how you can think about doing things differently in a digital age.
Digital tools for people and processes: At the heart of an organisation are it’s people, and supporting these people are processes. Digital tools can dramatically improve processes, giving people more time to focus on the most important work. We will look at your existing digital tools and assess how your digital approach could be strengthened
Data and information: Through all of the tools that we use there is a vast amount of information we collect which can give us deep insights into our organisations. We have a responsibility to protect the data of individuals and ensure that we are managing data and information appropriately. We’ll cover a range of digital tools to uncover how you can make the most out of the information and data you are collecting, and ensure you are equipped to manage the data securely.
Throughout this session DOT PROJECT will introduce a range of tools, including tools from their Digital Foundations support specifically the Digital Health Check and the Responsible Governance Framework.
Day 2: Building strong relationships with your teams, supporters and people you support
Designing your activities: Digital tools can bring greater efficiency and productivity to the way you work. This can bring many benefits including reaching more people through your activities. Achieving a more efficient approach by using digital tools requires a sustainable approach to service design. We will explore different ways that you can solve problems and design activities through the use of technology.
Building relationships with audiences: The people who volunteer for you, who fundraise for you and who amplify your visibility can be reached through digital tools. However the strongest connections come from a human connection. We focus on how you can build meaningful connections to support your communications and marketing approach.
Increasing income with digital tools: Fundraising has changed with the possibilities that digital tools provide, but sometimes it can be challenging to know how to effectively increase your income through digital tools. We cover funding opportunities which support innovation and technology, as well as assessing which digital fundraising tools could benefit your organisation.
