Bursting forth from Canada’s capital, native Producer and DJ crew A Tribe Called Red is making an impact on the global electronic scene with a truly unique sound, melding electronic hip hop beats with a powerful message.
They effortlessly move between the electric pow wow style they’ve made iconic and a variety of international music flavours like reggaeton, soca, calypso, hip-hop, dancehall and dubstep. If you’re going to A Tribe Called Red show, be prepared to sweat.
In the six years since their last Bristol show they’ve collaborated with some huge hitters including Yasiin Bey and Saul Williams. Played at some of the biggest festivals in the world, Bonnaroo, AfroPunk and Coachella to name a few. As well as won countless awards. It’s safe to say that their long awaited return debut is gonna be a big one.
A Tribe Called Red promotes inclusivity, empathy and acceptance amongst all races and genders in the name of social justice. They believe that indigenous people need to define their identity on their own terms. If you share this vision, then you are already part of the Halluci Nation.
