Food Truck Line up includes - King of The Wings That BBQ Joint Craft Beers Featured From the U.S.A Sierra Nevada Abita Brewing New Belgium Brewing Pabst Brewing Blue Moon Samuel Adams Other Brewers (local and amazing!!) Young Henry Fixation Brewing 4 Pines Stone & Wood Newstead Monteiths Throughout the day we will also be hosting a series of whiskey master classes where you will have the opportunity to talk one on one with the spirit ambassadors and learn about the whiskey and the history behind the brand. BAND BIOS - KINKY FRIEDMAN (USA) Nobody could invent a character quite like KINKY FRIEDMAN, the stogie-waving, black-hat-wearing Texas Jewboy singer, storyteller, tequila purveyor, animal rescuer and full-time iconoclast. A favourite of Australian audiences Kinky is in the midst of world tour in support of his brand new album 'The Loneliest Man I Ever Met'. Renowned for penning some of outlaw country's most outrageous songs, authoring bestsellers and running for governor of Texas, his 45-year career includes touring with Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue; recording with Eric Clapton, most of The Band and Ringo Starr; appearing on Saturday Night Live and at the Grand Ole Opry; and writing one of Nelson Mandela's favourite songs. He also became the protagonist of his own crime novels, because even he couldn't invent a character that could out-kinkKinky Friedman. HAYES CARLL (USA) is at the forefront of a generation of American singer/songwriters. A Texas native, his style of roots-oriented songwriting has been noted for its plain-spoken poetry and sarcastic humour. He was nominated for a 2016 Grammy Award for Best Country Song, and American Songwriter awarded him with Song of the Year for "Another Like You" in 2011, the same year he was nominated for Artist of the Year at the Americana Awards. His new album 'Lovers and Leavers', released in April and has been called "...the finest work of his career" (Paste Magazine) while themusic.com.au described it as "a languid and casual affair where the songs drift by, conjuring up late, humid nights on the back porch with a bottle for company." EAGLE & THE WOLF Built from heartbreak, forged on love. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Sarah Humphreys and one of Australia's finest, and most honest, blues musicians Kris Morris met and decided to make a life and music together as Eagle & The Wolf. Their debut single 'Mama, Son and The Holy Ghost' has had a huge response. After premiering on Triple J's Roots 'N' All it was also playlisted on Double J and reached Number 1 on the Amrap Chart. Released in March their debut album has received rave reviews from Rhythms Magazine, Rolling Stone and Sydney Morning Herald to name but a few. "Separately Sarah and Kris are two of my favourite singer/songwriters ever but the first time I heard their voices together I was taken to a whole other place!
