Enjoy the glory of Brisbane’s Story Bridge during the day on this spirited downtown adventure. The climb commences at the Climb base camp, directly under the bridge. After a quick briefing on the do’s and don’ts about the climb, ascend a spiral staircase that takes you to the start of the suspended walkway. Start your journey to the base of the southern pylon, collecting facts, stories, and myths about Brisbane’s colorful history along the way. You’ll climb through the inner Eastern bridge arm, ascend straight up the south-eastern cantilever arm that reaches up into the sky. Once at the top, drink in stunning 360-degree views of Brisbane and its gleaming surroundings. From the Glass House Mountains to Moreton Bay and south to the Scenic Rim, you’ll see it all. Say cheese as your group is photographed to commemorate the climb (if you want individual photographs, they are available for purchase).

The climb experience lasts approximately 90 minutes. This includes your briefing, safety demonstration, and the climbing route
Personal items will not be permitted on the bridge adventure climb, although lockers are provided
It is mandatory to wear fully enclosed rubber-soled footwear
All climbers must be at least 6 years of age with a minimum height of 110cm
Children aged between 6-16 years must be accompanied by an adult or guardian whilst climbing
At least one adult must accompany a child aged 6 to 10 years, whereas an adult can take responsibility for up to 3 children aged 10-16yrs
Children aged 5 years and under will be unable to participate
Every climber will be breathalyzed and must register under 0.05
The maximum weight limit is 130kgs.
Climbs operate in most weather conditions, even rain.
As climbers will not be permitted to take cameras (including video cameras) onto the climb, there are 3 photo opportunities that your climb leader will take photos from. Photos will be available to purchase from the photo-shop after your climb experience.
Children aged 6-16yrs, students, seniors aged 60yrs and above, as well as families (2 adults and 2 children), enjoy reduced ticket pricing (carry a valid photo ID)
