- **Event Description**: It's been over a month since the Council closed the Story Bridge footpaths and there's still no timeframe for when they will re-open. With the Riverwalk closed for the Eagle Street redevelopment, the detour involves navigating busy CBD streets for cyclists and a 20 minute addition for pedestrians. 

We're calling on the Council to close one lane of the Story Bridge to car traffic and allow safe passage to cyclists and pedestrians. Join us for a ride across the Story Bridge to share the message.

Meet at 9.30am at the eastern end of the new Kangaroo Point green bridge. From there we'll proceed over the Story Bridge using the leftmost car lane and exit at Ivory Lane. From Ivory Lane you can rejoin the Riverwalk and get the ferry or attempt the CBD detour to get back to Kangaroo Point, or just head straight home.
