Between these iconic works, delight in Jean Françaix’s charming Variations for cello and strings, featuring Queensland Symphony Orchestra Principal Cellist Hyung Suk Bae. In these expert hands, the cello sings with warmth and wit. You will also be treated to Peter Sculthorpe’s Lament – a deeply moving work that echoes the soul of the Australian landscape with every note.
