Cars are more than just machines, they take us on amazing adventures and might even have a name. They come in all shapes and sizes and inspire storytellers, artists, engineers and collectors. So, what’s the car of your dreams? Where will you go today? Join us for sensory and pretend play, art projects and more everyday of the school holidays.

Fuelled by nostalgia and State Library's remarkable collections, the exhibition brings together a gigantic array of licence plates, eye-catching artworks, historic photographs and fun road signs designed especially for children and families.
