Speakers
Dr Pekiri Ruska, Research Fellow School of Law Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, University of Queensland is a Goenpul woman from North Stradbroke Island and a Research Fellow in the Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Futures. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Journalism.

Dr Krystal Lockwood, Research Fellow, TC Beirne School of Law, University of Queensland, is a Gumbaynggirr and Dunghutti woman and Research Fellow with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Futures at The University of Queensland. Her research examines how justice is understood, measured, and enacted within contemporary justice systems. Her research focuses on Indigenous justice, justice systems transformation, and persistent inequities in justice outcomes.
