Handel Israel in Egypt

Handel's dramatic and evocative oratorio is being performed in Brisbane for the first time in over 20 years. Though composed in 1738, it is a work for our time, when displacement and humanitarian crises are all too common.

Don't miss the chance to hear this work with well known conductor and classical music personality Graham Abbott leading the combined forces of Brisbane Chorale and Canticum (Music Director, Emily Cox), the incomparable Camerata, and a cast of stellar soloists. To open the concert, Christopher Wrench plays movements from Handel's sparkling Organ Concerto No. 13.

Pre-Concert Talk by Graham Abbott at 2.15pm
