For the first time, Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens will be set ablaze! Well, sort of.
The Brisbane Festival is presenting huge spheres of leaping flames, sculptures that flicker and dance, fiery urns that cause shadows to play, and a soundtrack every bit as brilliant as the garden itself!
For the last 20 years, this world famous fire show has graced Stonehenge, The Kremlin, a bridge in Vietnam and a former Pr*son in Morocco. Last year they burned Melbourne’s Botanic Gardens and the city pretty much lost its mind. This year, we’re in the firing line.
There’s gonna be 30 giant fire palettes, holding 6720 fire pots, and 600 different ‘fire bulbs’ will be hung from trees throughout the gardens. There’s gonna be a flaming ‘charcoal river’ snaking for 120metres, and the guys expect to get through a whopping 14,000kg of charcoal over the four-night show.
Oh yeah, and its for 4 nights only!
In Melbourne this event sold out 6 weeks prior, so if you want to get some seriously insta-worthy pics you’ll have to get in quick. Tickets available here: https://www.brisbanefestival.com.au/whats-on/fire-gardens
The Brisbane Shenanigans Crew will be going to the session at 7:00pm on Saturday 14th September. See you there!
