Tide Pool Kayaking Tour

Tide pooling by kayak! Join us for our 2.5 hour Biologist and Naturalist guided, Tide Pool Exploring Kayaking Tour! $105 per person. This is one of our most popular tour with kids and with people of any age interested in intertidal marine wildlife. We will paddle out at low tide to view a variety of marine invertebrates such as sea stars, sea cucumbers, sea anemone, nudibranch, chitons, moon snails, and crab. We also see bald eagles, small fish, jellyfish, heron and sometimes a seal or two! Humpback whales, harbor porpoise, California Sea Lions and Orcas have also been spotted in this area. Your guide will teach you about the animals we encounter as we paddle to rock walls and tidelands only exposed at low tides. Along the way we will check on our local eagles and try and spot the year's eaglets or fledglings, and slowly meander the shoreline in search of other wildlife.
