And a whole lot more fun.Who’s in charge here?The workshop takes its inspiration from Timothy Gallwey’s The Inner Game of Tennis and his idea of Self 1 and Self 2.Self 1 wants to be in charge. It thinks, instructs, judges, plans and tries to control the outcome.Self 2 actually does it. It listens, moves, responds and adapts in real time, faster and more fluidly than our conscious mind can direct it.The problem isn’t that Self 1 exists. It’s that we’ve spent our lives teaching it to be the boss.The Inner Game reverses that relationship: less for Self 1 to manage, more freedom for Self 2 to respond. And every time Self 2 proves what it can do, we learn to trust it more.Less control. More trust.
