The Charlie Miller Quartet

Diverse jazz based repertoire from lyrical ballads, to up tempo swing. Encompassing great predominantly great American jazz classics with hints of romantic French standards, Brazilian/Latin bossa nova and samba, soul, blues and gospel.

Chaz's comparable inspiration is probably Chet Baker, others being Andrea Motis and Nat King Cole.

They really bounce off the energy of the audience each other. Knowing there’s more to giving a great, entertaining, uplifting show than technical ability.

Chaz chose flugelhorn over the trumpet as this enables him to access a more "tasteful character". His playing style is not abrasive, overpowering and aggressive, which trumpet sometimes can be.

Joining Chaz will be Joss Peach on keys, Nick McGuigan on upright bass and finally but by no means least - the pounding heart of the line up - Angus Bishop on drums.
