✨About the Show✨
Based on the best-selling novel, The Bridges of Madison County is a sweeping romantic musical with a breathtaking score by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years, Parade) and a poignant book by Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman. Winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Score and Orchestrations, this story captures the beauty of America’s heartland and the timeless question, “What if...?”
Set in 1965, the story follows Francesca Johnson, an Italian woman living on an Iowa farm, whose brief but profound encounter with National Geographic photographer Robert Kincaid changes her life forever. Audiences will be transported by the soaring, heartfelt music and the emotional depth of the characters, leaving with a renewed appreciation for human connection and the courage it takes to embrace or let go of what might have been.
* Please note, this production of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY contains mature themes and suggestive content, and is recommended for audiences ages 13 & up.
