What’s happening in Gaza is not just a crisis - it’s the destruction of an entire society.
For nearly two years, Israel’s assault on Gaza has created a catastrophic humanitarian crisis. More than 61,700 Palestinians have been killed and 154,500 injured, the vast majority are civilians, including women and children.
Famine is spreading, with thousands of children in urgent need of food and medical care. Access to clean water, medicine, and essential supplies is being deliberately restricted. Gaza’s health system has been systematically destroyed. 94% of hospitals are damaged, and there have been almost 700 attacks on healthcare facilities since 2023.
Despite global protests demanding a ceasefire, Western governments, including the UK continue to provide weapons and political support to Israel, enabling this devastation to continue.
Humanitarian aid is being blocked, but donations to trusted medical and relief organisations remain a crucial lifeline. In Gaza, where people are being denied their basic rights and means to survive, every act of solidarity matters.
