- **Event Description**: This event is intended for bird watchers interested in witnessing the fall migration. Specifically we will pay special attention to the migration of Shorebirds which Presqu'ile is well known for.

This is a FREE event

Meet at the camp store at 8am

We will be spending the morning on the beaches of Owen Point. As well we will be wading accross Lake Ontario to visit Gull Island and High Bluff Islands. This is approximately 200 yards of walking in about 3 feet of Lake Ontario.  Appropriate footwear should be considered.  

Up to 30 species of Shorebirds are possible in this area. I personally have found Red Knot, Marbled Godwit and Buff Breasted Sandpiper on Gull Island.

We will also sit on the beach at Owen Point and observe the Shorebirds. This location is superb to get great views.

After lunch we will bird some of the other trails and will make the decision which trail to hit based on where the birds are being seen.

Washrooms are found throughout the Park
